About SMEDA

SMEDA is a an Excel app for scraping Twitter and doing social-media exploratory data analytics.  The goal is to give the public the ability to scrape social media and do rapid analysis of the results for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive purposes.

SMEDA is freely available and works with NodeXL to generate network graphs.
